LT-100
Capture & Compression Card Series
Reliable SD/HD capture with integrated H.264 compression
The LT-100 series delivers dependable SD and HD video acquisition with hardware H.264 compression, from 1080p60 down to legacy analog standards. Built to handle both digital and analog sources, it ensures efficient, low-latency capture while offloading encoding from the host CPU.
Available as PCIe cards and a standalone USB system, single or dual-channel, the LT-100 family is a proven solution for medical, industrial, broadcast and embedded environments that require reliable, frame-accurate video capture.

Choose the right LT-100 for your inputs
Four capture options sharing the same H.264 hardware compression. Pick the form factor and inputs that match your integration.
LT-102 PCIe Capture Card
Single-channel PCIe capture with one H.264 encoder. Supports DVI-I, Composite and S-Video, with optional SDI. Handles SD to Full HD and legacy analog resolutions, with embedded or external audio.
Most versatile single-channel card
LT-122 Dual-Channel SDI Capture Card
Dual-channel PCIe SDI capture with two H.264 encoders and direct loopthrough on each input. Supports SD to Full HD, with embedded audio and dual external audio.
Two SDI channels with loopthrough
LT-124 Dual-Channel DVI-I Capture Card
Dual-channel PCIe DVI-I capture with two H.264 encoders. Supports SD to Full HD and legacy DVI resolutions, with embedded and optional external audio.
Two DVI-I channels on one card
LT-101-USB Capture System
Standalone USB capture system with one H.264 encoder. Supports Composite, S-Video and DVI-I, with optional SDI. Handles SD to Full HD and legacy analog resolutions, with embedded or external audio.
No PCIe slot required
Need a different configuration?
The LT-100 series covers most SD/HD capture and compression needs, but if your application requires specific input formats, form factor, encoding parameters or software integration, we design custom solutions built on the same proven technology.
Software & Integration
The LT-100 comes with lightweight software tools to integrate video capture into your applications, whether you need direct access to raw or compressed streams, or plug-and-play integration on Windows.
Simple C API
A straightforward C API configures hardware compression and capture settings, and lets applications retrieve either compressed H.264 streams or raw video frames. The lightweight, deterministic interface is well suited to custom software, embedded systems and industrial environments where reliability and predictable timing matter.
DirectShow Filter
On Windows, a DirectShow filter exposes LT-100 cards as standard video sources in any DirectShow-compatible application. A dedicated configuration utility sets video format, resolution and framerate, enabling fast, code-free setup and simplifying integration into Windows-based workflows.
Capture & encoding capabilities
The LT-100 captures both digital and analog sources and compresses them in hardware, in real time — keeping host CPU load low and latency predictable across the whole series.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the LT-100 models?
All LT-100 cards share the same H.264 hardware compression; they differ by inputs and form factor. The LT-101-USB and LT-102 handle both analog and digital sources (Composite, S-Video, DVI-I, optional SDI): the LT-101 as a standalone USB system that needs no PCIe slot, the LT-102 as a single-channel PCIe card. The LT-122 is dual-channel SDI with loopthrough, and the LT-124 is dual-channel DVI-D; both are digital-only.
Does the LT-100 handle both analog and digital sources?
It depends on the model. The LT-101 and LT-102 capture both analog (Composite, S-Video) and digital (DVI-I, optional SDI). The LT-122 (SDI) and LT-124 (DVI-D) are digital-only. Across the series, incoming resolution and frame rate are detected automatically.
What resolutions does the LT-100 support?
Beyond broadcast standards (SD PAL/NTSC, 720p, 1080i, 1080p60), the DVI inputs accept user-defined VESA CVT/GTF resolutions, up to 1920×1200 at 60 Hz to date. Raw capture reaches 1080p60, while real-time H.264 compression runs up to 1080p30 per channel.
Does it work on Linux, or only Windows?
Both. The C library SDK is fully compatible with Windows (8, 10, 11) and Linux (Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+), and ships with example code, including for recording. The DirectShow filter is Windows-only.
Can I capture and compress two channels at the same time?
Yes, on the dual-channel cards (LT-122, LT-124). Any input can be routed to any channel, and a single input can even feed both channels at once. Each channel has its own hardware encoder, running real-time H.264 up to 1080p30 per channel, in parallel and without loading the host CPU.
