| Digital I/O The 609 has sixteen digital inputs and sixteen outputs (TTL) controlled through software. Output Terminations When the switch is open, the output is isolated from the load (monitor), which allows connecting multiple boards in parallel. Internal Signal Connections A thirty-four pin flat cable header is provided for the sixteen video inputs. A 16-pin header for video outputs and a 40-pin header for digital I/O signals. Multiple Boards Multiple 609’s may be used in the same PCI bus. A 609 and a 611 frame grabber will also function together. External Signal Connections The flat cables from the 609 may be connected to an optional termination box, model 609TA, model 609TC or model 609TE. Model 609TA provides sixteen BNC’s for inputs, eight BNC’s for video output, and captive terminals for the digital I/O signals (model 609TA-ND is a non-digital version). Surge protection is included for the digital I/O lines and the video outputs. The 609TA converts eight of the TTL outputs to form-C relay outputs. The smaller 609TC provides 16 BNC’s for camera connections. Model 609TB optional termination box supports 32 cameras. Model 609TE provides 16 BNC’s for camera connections and fits in the space of a CD player. Model 609TG supports 32 camera connections and is 2U height for 19” enclosure Software and Manuals A 32-bit DLL is supplied for Windows 98/NT/2000. It is part of the software developer’s kit, SDK609.
