| Status indicators
The 2650’s microcontroller can monitor and report the state of the relay coil power. Each relay has an LED that tells when the coil driver is energized. The RESET LED flashes briefly after a software reset. The XMT, RCV and LINK indicate communication activity.
The HRTBT, heartbeat LED flashes at two second intervals to indicate the the 2650 is functioning properly. Interlocks
Up to five independent interlock circuits and/or emergency stop circuits can be threaded through the 2650 relay and 2610 digital I/O modules. Each relay can be jumper programmed to open when an interlock voltage is removed.

Field Wiring
Each set of relay contacts has two connectors for field wiring, thus, eliminating the need for intermediate terminal blocks. Windows SDK
A Windows DLL for the 2600 series is provided at no additional cost. It requires the use of a 2601 communication module in addition to the 2650. The Windows 98/NT/2000/XP DLL is a common interface for the entire 2600 series. The SDK includes sample programs for Visual Basic and C++. The source code for these programs show how to use the DLL. A second DLL is provided for systems that use the 2699 serial port adapter.
